Mr Debnath Guharoy
Debnath’s entire career has been in marketing services, spanning the Asia Pacific region. As an adman, he worked in both local CEO and regional roles at JWT, where he was the youngest international vice-president in the world’s oldest ad agency.
After five years as a successful ad agency partner, he tasted failure as an internet entrepreneur in a start-up that would draw on research by Roy Morgan. He turned to market research and consulting with the company, in Australia. The company runs the biggest on-going consumer survey in Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia.
He is also a part-time columnist, writer and speaker. Having lived in 7 countries and worked in 17, he is instinctively at home anywhere in the Asia Pacific region. Indonesia has been a second home since 1988.
