The AIBC Queensland Chapter is led by a dedicated group of individuals who have a keen interest in promoting Queensland's trade and investment relationship with Indonesia. The Queensland committee consists of senior executives and academics who have an in-depth knowledge of Indonesia and extensive networks within industry and government. Amongst others, the committee includes Dr Kathleen Turner (Chair) and David Widjaja (Vice Chair) and Greg Vickery AO.
We work with a full range of organisations from SMEs to multi-national corporations within multiple sectors including agribusiness, education, resources, consulting, legal, engineering/construction, and others. We also liaise closely with key stakeholders including the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ), Austrade, the Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ACCI), the Australian Industry Group (AIG), Brisbane City Council, and other bilateral business chambers, to help build connections and assist Queensland businesses access opportunities in the Indonesian market.
Our Queensland members continue to enjoy the many networking events and functions that we hold throughout the year. This includes our annual flagship event with Brisbane Roar Football Club, the popular IndOz Business Networking Dinner, our Industry-themed panel forums, and exclusive roundtable functions with senior Indonesian leaders and business executives.
