Dear Members and Friends,

AIBC, in partnership with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), invites you to attend the fourth event of the National Industry Series 2022: “Indonesia: It’s Time To Take A Fresh Look”, focusing on Indonesia's Education & Training Sector.

Indonesia is undergoing transformational change, offering Australian industry opportunities for partnering with Indonesia across a range of industry sectors – including Education and Training.  The Indonesian government has made human capital development a top priority, as it seeks to add 57 million skilled workers to its economy by 2030. Australia’s existing education and training networks with Indonesia provide an invaluable foundation for developing new and innovative partnerships in this sector, including in the delivery of online education.

Under the Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IA-CEPA), Australian education and training providers benefit from improved market access to opportunities in this sector.

Join us for an hybrid event featuring keynote addresses by Professor Edward Buckingham, Monash University on the exciting opportunities available in Indonesia’s Education and Training sector.

You will also hear from a distinguished panel of speakers who will share their practical insights on how to access opportunities in this important sector and on why “It’s time to take a fresh look at Indonesia”.

Date: Thursday 23 June 2022
Time: 12:00pm - 2:30pm ACST (A light networking lunch will be from 12.00pm - 12:30pm for those attending in person and online will commence at 12:30pm ACST / 1:00pm AEST)
