The AIBC represents its members’ interests in political and commercial circles both in Australia and Indonesia. This is achieved through participation in conferences, forums and joint meetings with government, diplomatic and business leaders, and the results of these meetings are communicated to members via AIBC’s monthly e-newsletter, AIBCnews. AIBC members strengthen their business through up-to-date information and business networking and belong to a business community with significant knowledge and contacts in both Australia and Indonesia.
There are four principal full membership categories: National Corporate Membership; Corporate Membership; Small to Medium Business (SME) Membership, and Individual Membership.
A discounted full membership is available for Retirees on application to Member Support.
Discounted membership is also available for Students, but this category does not have voting rights nor eligibility to fill AIBC Board and Committee positions. Anyone wishing to become a Student member should also contact Member Support.
The AIBC membership year runs from 1 July to 30 June.
