The 2025 Australia-Indonesia Youth Exchange Program (AIYEP) will be held in Melbourne from 21 Oct 2025, and is welcoming AIBC members to become a host workplace and/or a host family for the incoming Indonesian delegates from 27 Oct to 14 Nov 2025.

AIYEP is a flagship Australia-Indonesia bilateral initiative established in 1982 that connects young Australians and Indonesians (aged 21-25) through enriching cultural, social, and professional exchanges. It offers participating delegates an opportunity to engage in immersive work placements, host family experiences, language training, academic workshops, and diverse cultural interactions, ensuring an unmatched platform for building global networks and deepening bilateral understanding. 

AIBC members are invited to become a host workplace and/or a host family. Have a look at the details below, and you can apply online or contact the team at aiyep@valuelearning.com.au.

This is a wonderful opportunity to immerse your home or workplace in vibrant cultural exchange by hosting some of Indonesia's brightest and most passionate youth leaders from diverse provinces and backgrounds. Host families will receive a $1,050 AUD reimbursement to help cover the expenses of hosting a participant over three weeks, and host organisations will not need to remunerate delegates who complete work placements.
